As loveLife, our work to reduce HIV infections among youth is extremely important to the wellbeing and future of our country.

In order to maintain and even improve on the quality, reach and integrity of loveLife’s services, we cannot allow any type of fraud to infiltrate any part of our organisation. To ensure that every effort is made to stamp out fraud at loveLife, a Fraud Prevention Policy has been approved by the loveLife Board.

In line with supporting the implementation of this policy, loveLife has established a Fraud Hotline where anyone can call and report suspicious behavior.

To report fraud you can call the toll-free Fraud Hotline on 0800 121 500 or send your tip-offs to fraud@lovelife.org.za. We appeal to you to speak out should you know of any loveLife staff member committing fraud or if you know someone not employed by loveLife using the organisation’s name to commit fraud. Providing information on fraud also means you contribute towards improvement of accountability and transparency within loveLife, in line with corporate governance practices.

Over the last few months, we’ve had reported cases of someone using loveLife’s name to extort money from organisations. We therefore appeal to you to be vigilant and discerning in all your dealings with people who claim to be representing loveLife.
