Community Dialogues
Community dialogues enable communities to confront the drivers of HIV, their own attitudes and behaviour towards the virus, as well as other social concerns to make positive collective decisions, plans and actions. In this manner, communities are able to build the social capital necessary to protect youth, families and communities from HIV.
All community members – men and women of different ages, classes, as well as young people – are invited to participate in the dialogues to allow for different perspectives to be heard and take into account when decisions are made. Local stakeholders, district and provincial institutions can also participate as resource persons and partners.
